Beginners Guide
Installing the Game
1. First go to App Store.
2. Go to search tap and type in "World War" and download the game.
Starting the Game
1. Pick a country
Country Option
a. Germany (Bonus to Ground Units)
b. UK (Bonus to Water Units)
c. USA (Bonus to Air Units)
d. China (Bonus to Infantry Units)
e. Russia (Gains Energy faster)
Make to pick a country that you would want to stay with.
It will cost 50 honor points to change country. Info about the Honor Points will be given below.
2. Planning to get the new iPhone 3G S?
You have a choice between Learn More or No Thanks.
Choosing No Thanks will automatically take you to the introduction page.
Choosing Learn More will give you another choice of Old Device and New Device.
From here you will register your account to be able to transfer your account to other
iphones or itouches.
3. Introduction Page
Read the introduction page and hit continue.
Introduction: "The sound of artillery fire shakes you from your sleep. As you try to come
to your senses, you receive a radio transmission from Secretary Chalmers. He says
to you, 'General, we have been hit by a surprise attack from the enemy. I need you
to gather what forces you can and defend this base at all costs.' You rush to action
organizing your troops and getting ready for battle. This base will not fall under your
watch.
4. Tutorial
This is given right after the Introduction Page. I highly recommend that you don't skip this.
It gives a quick run down of how to work the app. Also it gives you a chance to pick your
user name. If you decide to skip the tutorial then you would have a username of "No Name."
You will not be able to change the username of No Name even if you use Honor Points to
change name (it is a glitch in the game).
5. What You Start With
You start at level 1 with $20,000
You start at Health 100, Energy 100, and Ammo 3
For Mission you can only do:
a. Fend off Enemy Attack
b. Hunt Down Retreating Forces
For Buildings
a. Supply Depot
b. Bunker
For Units
1. Infantry Units
a. Minigunners
b. Fireteam
2. Ground Units
a. Supply Truck
b. Hum-Vee
3. Water Units
a. Cruiser
4. Air Units
a. Fighter
Honor Points
1. You are able to buy Honor Points by buying them directly from the World War app.
a. 60 Honor Points cost $ 4.99
b. 140 Honor Points cost $ 9.99
d. 300 Honor Points cost $19.99
2. What you can do with the Honors Point
a. Receive World War cash for 10 Honor Points
(amount of cash is based on your gamer profile)
b. Refill Energy, Ammo, or Health for 10 Honor Points
c. Add 1 alliance member for 20 Honor Points
d. Change your name for 30 Honor Points
e. Change your country for 50 Honor Points
3. President
The President page is where you can buy and use your Honor Points.
Another way to get Honor Points is when World War gives a promo to download a certain app.
You will see this promo on the home page.
The promo is usually a free download of a certain game that gives you a free Unit, Honor
Points, or both.
4. How to get to the President List
There is a button that is located on every page of World War.
If you look at the very top of the page you will see a nuclear and a missile picture.
You can click either picture to get to the President page.
